The blower motor seems to be working normally as I can hear it and can vary its' speed using the control panel. It has the EATC control interface, part number AS7T18C612AB. I ran the on-board diagnostic procedure which threw back 4 faults: 9081 Circuit of left-hand temperature control flap actuator faulty. not sure if anyone has experienced this is issue but any info would be greatly appreciated, my mondeo mk 4 titanium x sport's dash has stoped working my speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge and engine temp has stopped but everything else works as it should including cruise control etc, there is no faults coming up either. This happens 3 times before they stop working alltogether. Worked OK at first then encountered power drops during driving and non starting. I'm actually tempted to fit Mk4.5 controls where the ashtray currently is located, and fiberglass a custom fascia with iPad mount, if I can get around to properly learning the fiberglassing bit. Mondeo Mk4 2008 (BA7) saloon 2.0 TDCi 130 PS (well, 152 PS with the Bluefin installed) Zetec Auto (TF-80/81SC) Speedo cluster type 1, firmware: 0246. A. Remove Airbag in MK4 Mondeo 1. Make sure you know your radio key code, and then disconnect the battery. Check the steering lock is not engaged, as you need to turn the wheel later. 2. Wait 30 minutes, for the airbag system to totally de-power, so it cannot go off accidentally 3. Driver door and rear driver door electrics not working on Ford Mondeo mk4. Fuses checked-all OK. Dashboard info insists driver door is open, but not rear driver door, and central locking doesn't work (key or remote). Mechanic's Assistant: Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Have you located both? One next to battery - checked. dash lighting can sometimes flick on/off seemingly random etc ( headlights etc still operate OK just the dash lights flicker ) 99% of the time this is an internal fault in the headlight switch & can be fixed by opening up the headlight switch & either nipping all the connections between the circuitboard & the rear panel of the switch together some or if that fails a soldering iron & a bit of MikeMondeo. The Dashboard in my BA7 MK4 has a Black out. The error appears as periodically outtage of all the lights. Sometimes it comes once a week and starts while drivingnext morning it’s back in normal mode. Sometimes the Dashboard is blacked out Wien starting the car in the morningand. Generally, hard wiring something usually requires access to a switched live, a permanent live and a ground. Most commonly, these can be found near the stereo however the Mondeo doesn't have a switched live stereo. Using a multimeter I was able to work out which fuses are permanent live, which go off after 15 minutes and which circuits go off 11LI.
